Mobile application

The purpose of the “Android news apps” project was a source code audit, bug fixing and the development of new functionalities for an existing Android OS application. The application offers a mobile version of an online newspaper. The changes which we implemented improved overall performance and the user experience. We also obtained a merged source base for multiple vendors: hln.be, 7sur7.be, vk.nl. This simplified support for multiple branding applications.

Key technologies and components used in creating Android news apps were Android API, Simple XML, Facebook API.
