Microsoft, Qlik and Tableau – leaders in Gartner’s report

Microsoft, Qlik and Tableau are the leaders in the BI sector according to the Gartner report, “Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms 2016”.The composition of this year’s report is very different from those of previous years. The market for analysis tools is undergoing a revolutionary transformation. It has focusing on user interaction and ease of use. Microsoft, Qlik and Tableau are the undisputed winners this year.

Qlik has earned its exalted position for the sixth time in a row, acclaimed for the utility of its platform. It can be quickly implemented and used by analysts and business users alike. Singled out for particular mention was Qlik Sense. It is the latest tool which allows users to quickly and intuitively explore and visualize data from any device.

Furthermore, Microsoft was also considered among the best, due in no small part to its updated Power BI platform.
